Seicento Baroque Ensemble presents this free workshops on improvisation to help you improve mental reflexes, observation, spontaneity and creativity. Through music you will learn how improvising is central to success in all aspects of life, from creativity to conversation, in private and in public. The hourlong workshops are suitable for all ages and are led by early musical scholar (and improvisation expert) Dr. Tina Chancey playing viola da gamba, fiddle, and kamenj (Middle Eastern bowed instrument). Suitable for musicians and non-musicians alike. The workshop is free, but registration is requested at seicentobaroque.org or through artistic director Evanne Browne at info@seicentobaroque.org
